rĀthe® is thrilled to be making an appearance at the 2019 Gemini Ink Writers Conference hosted at the historic El Tropicano River Walk Hotel in beautiful San Antonio, Texas!
Gemini Ink is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping writers share their stories. The organization offers creative writing workshops, free writing courses for young students, and an authors program, titled “Autograph Series," featuring public readings with internationally celebrated authors. Their premier event is the Writers Conference, a 3-day event featuring workshops, panel presentations, public readings, and the Booksellers Market.
The conference also presents a unique networking opportunity to meet with a host of writers from across the nation, AND with a shared interest in helping authors succeed, the conference harmonizes with the values of rĀthe!
The 2019 Gemini Ink Writers Conference theme is Negotiating Place. According to Gemini Ink:
"As artists, we ask ourselves, 'where do we do our best work?' As humans, we wonder, 'where do our words fit into the larger conversation?' As literary citizens, we are called to live in ways that represent ourselves, our languages, our communities, our cultures… As we explore the internal and external landscapes that shape our stories on the page, we sometimes need a guide to help us find our way."
