Description:
Elizabeth Boyle is a plain, practical woman who plans to become a governess in her native land of Scotland after both her parents die. Her brothers have re-settled in the American West, and in a sudden change of heart, she decides to join them in West Texas in 1874, her only intention to find her life’s purpose in looking after her brothers and doing good where she can in the small frontier town of Fort Griffin. But when her brothers convince her to join them at the New Year’s Eve Ball, things take an unexpected turn and she must decide whether to stick to her own plans or answer a call that will completely change her destiny.
